If you knew our mother, you knew she was full of kindness, love and laughter. She had a fondness for clothes and shoes and loved to dress up when she was going out. Very seldom did I ever see her dress in blacks or greys., it just wasn’t her personality. On one occasion, I picked her up for a funeral, and when she came out of the house, I asked her to please go back in and tone the outfit down a bit… afterwords I felt badly for doing this. So if you are attending mom’s funeral, please don’t feel the need to dress in black, wear what makes you happy, no matter how bright and colorful. Everyone needs a little bling in their lives! I will love you and miss you forever Mom, you were my bling xo
