Obituary of Vera May Wambolt

Vera May Wambolt, 88 of Digby, passed away on January 19, 2023, in the Digby General Hospital. Born in East Victory, she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Hilda (Hubley) Kaulback.

Vera will be deeply missed by sons, Gary (Kim) Wambolt of Alberta; Luke (Tanya) Wambolt of Digby; Jack (Joanne) Wambolt of Digby; Mark (Lisa) Wambolt of Digby; daughters, Faye Greenlaw of Digby; Darlene Winchester (Barry) of Digby; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Vera has one more sister, Edna Vantassel of Winnipeg, MB, who may or not be surviving.

In addition to her parents, Vera was predeceased by loving husband, Jack “Clair” Wambolt; daughter, Debbie Vatcher; brother, Avery Kaulback; sisters, Irene McGowan and Kathleen Brown; and sons-in-law, Paul Greenlaw, Robie Vatcher, and Nathan Winchester.

There will be no visitation or service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
