Dear Vera, I miss you sooo much. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you or say "see you later" before you left.
There's lots of memories over the years I've known you and Jack. The first time Mark took me to meet you guys, I was scared to death. I learned after that night just how cool you guys would turn out to be. The times we'd go for drives, you and Jack in the back seat sneaking sips. Mark and I in front, him sipping on drinks and me driving (God knows where), some of the laughs we'd have. One day on our way home, Jack and I noticed a little white car was driving off to the left and down into the ditch, we stopped to help but by the time emergency got there it was too late. Jack was so afraid we'd get caught with drinks in the car. The time we went to Lunenburg for the day, Jack took us back to his memories of fishing, boats and the seas, working like a horse and sharing stories of his fishing years. The times we'd listen to music, have drinks and dance. Every time I hear those songs, my heart smiles and hurts at the same time. We'd share stories, confide in each other, sometimes it was serious and other times we'd just laugh. Every time I'd visit, you guys always tried to make me eat. I learned about 'Boiled Dinner', cohogs and Jack even got me to eat broccoli. I remember going to the trailer one day, the skies turned black and there was an ice storm, Mark was out fishing and I was so scared, that ice was huge, but you guys assured me everything would be ok.
There's lots more memories, but I'll stop here.
I love and miss you and Jack, I will see you guys when we meet again.
