So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I was one of those people who benefited from his leadership and mentoring as a Boy Scout in his troop at 1st Woodlawn in the early 1960's. He was a patient and dedicated leader and he set a great example for all of us who had the pleasure of his guidance. My condolences to all of the family.

I lived across the street from Mr. Harris, and am saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to my sometimes childhood playmates Judy, Bob, and David, and particularly my late mother would have wanted to pass on hers to Isabelle, whom she always remembered fondly.

Bob,
I was saddened to learn that your father has passed away. I learned a lot from Jim while he was at the refinery. Folks like your father assured that the refinery ran safely and efficiently for many years. I am proud to have worked with you and your father for many years. Jim's commitment to safety and mechanical integrity benefitted me and many other coworkers at Imperial Oil.
Janet and I extend our condolences to you and all the family.
Take care,
Greg and Janet Sutcliffe

Our family is sorry for your loss.
Jim had a significant impact on our lives, which may have taken a much different path had it not been for the friendship we shared with Jim and family on Margaree Pkwy and at Fox Harbour.
We will continue to remember Jim as a good friend and mentor. A gentleman, not quick to judge but one who made you feel if you were satisfied with your accomplishment, that was the goal and good with him.
He has left us with many fond memories and will be missed.
Sincerely; The MacDonald family
