Obituary of Hazel Margaret Kilpatrick

Hazel Margaret Kilpatrick, 86 of Wolfville passed away April 17, 2018 in her home. Born in Sussex, NB, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Florence (Proctor) Friars. Hazel was a kind hearted and generous woman, her family and friends adored her cheeky sauciness and sharp wit. How often she made us laugh. Hazel loved to travel, she was acutely aware of our world's affairs, and she lived for her family and friends. She has left us with a lifetime of wonderful memories. Hazel is survived by daughters Pamela (Richard) Matheson of Kingsport; Jane Gizbert of London, England; step?sons Paul (Roberta) Kilpatrick of Sussex, NB; brian (Karen) Kilpatrick of Fredericton, NB; brother Gerald (Dorothy) Friars of Guelph, ON; sisters Vivien (John) Brannen of Toronto, ON; Jean Harris of Mississauga, ON; grandchildren and step?grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Kilpatrick. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the St. John's Anglican Church, Parish of Horton, 161 Hwy 1, Wolfville. Memorial donations may be made to the St. John's Anglican Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel.
