Martin James Singleton - Dartmouth - Hantsport. We would like to express with our deepest sympathy of our beloved Martin James Singleton, passed away on October 13, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 59. Born in Whislon, Prescot, England, he was the son of Doris and the late John Singleton. Martin left behind a loving wife of 18 years Sherry (Parker) of Dartmouth; mother Doris Singleton of Hantsport; sister Kathleen (Gary) MacDow of Hantsport; special sister Shawna (Mark) Clarke of Bishopville; in-laws Judy and Tyrone Parker of Halifax; brother-in-laws Tyson (Amanda) Parker of Halifax; Tyrone (Ruth) Parker, Jr of Hamilton, ON; sister-in-law Lily Parker of Halifax; nephew Richard Rogers; niece Cora Lynn MacDow; nephew Brandon Brown; niece Alisha Brown; great nephews Noah; Tyrell; great niece Mia and many more extended family members in Canada, England and Australia. Martin was employed with British Cycle Supply in Wolfville for many years. He had two loves in his life, one was his music, he played in bands: Harvest Gold, Phoneix and Mike Ritcey Band. The other love was bikes, where he was one of the people that organized the Atlantic Vintage T.T. for ten years at the Shubenacadie Race Track. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Hants Border Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Centenial Building at the VG Hospital E.N.T Dept or the Palliative Care Unit. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822). Thanks to the Nursing Staff of 3B and 7A and Dr. Rigby.
