To the family and friends of Mrs. Collins:
Hello, my name is Erica O'Neill. You don't know me, but I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I was also hoping if I could, to also share with you some comfort.
During difficult times like this there may be different questions that go through our heads. I have always found that the bible has answered my questions.
I don't know if you are a bible reader, but if you have one I think you will find Revelation 21:3,4 very comforting. This is what it says in the New World Translation: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, AND DEATH WILL BE NO MORE, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
Did you notice the point that death would be no more? This may sound too good to be true, but this is a wonderful promise from the bible that we can trust.
I am a Jehovah's Witness and a volunteer in the Halifax area. I am not looking for money, I simply enjoy letting others know about the beautiful hope that we have for the future.
I also wanted to let you know about a brochure that has helped others entitled "When someone you love dies" the funeral home may carry copies, if not I would be more then happy to send you a copy free of charge and no obligation. You can email me at ericaloneill@hotmail.com or visit our website at jw.org for further information.
Thank you for taking the time to read my email, I hope it has brought you some comfort during this difficult time.
