I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the family of the late Rev. James Henry MacIntosh. In reading the Obituaries in the August 28 edition of the Chronicle Herald, I was saddened to hear of his passing. I am the CEO of DSME Trenton Ltd., which is producing Wind Turbine components here in Nova Scotia. I was born in Korea. I noticed Rev. MacIntosh was a veteran of the Korean War. I hold dear to my heart all Veterans and the contributions and sacrifices they made for our country. Again, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your recent loss.

A very fine gentleman has gone to be with our Lord.
So warmly welcoming to me as I took up my duties in Annapolis Royal Baptist Pastoral Charge. Enjoyed his company, insights, and open spirit in the Annapolis Ministerial. He will be missed.
Condolences are extended, of course, but I suspect that you, his family, are comforted by how proud we all are of the Rev. Jim MacIntosh.
Blessings - Rev. Bob Reid

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles

Mary, please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your remarkable husband Jim. The Jim we got to know was such a devoted father to his children and a very loving and proud "Grampy Sir" to David and Scott. He was also a heck of a good carpenter. Always smiling and always ready to help others. Jim was a such a unique and gentle role model for us to follow, and we feel so privileged to have you and Jim enter our lives.

Dear Mrs MacIntosh and family,
I was surprised to have read this on the Herald, as I was unaware of illness recently.
Jim and I go back a long way, as I was a recruit in Cornwallis in 1973, and after becoming a chaplain later, he was my command chaplain in Kingston. We corresponded a few years back.
May Godchr(39)s grace and loving direction so guide you in the years ahead.
Yours most respectfully,
RI Cudmore

Dear Mary and family;
How saddened we are to learn of Jimchr(39)s death. I remember well lively discussions between Jim and Dad on many topics. Your familychr(39)s gracious hosting of me as a very young man on a trip to Cape Breton I remember with fondness as well. Jim provided me with a quick education on rural Cape Breton. But most of all I remember how Jim and Mary were there for us in times of need and how gently and compassionately Jim handled celebrations of life for our family. I know you will all have fond memories of your own of this gentle,intelligent and understanding man. Cherish them as he cherished all of you.
With deepest and heartfelt sympathy;

I want to express my sincere condolences to you and your Family , Mary, on the passing of a very dear friend. Some 50 years ago this month we all moved into PMQs as neighbours on Borden Ave. to serve with 2nd Bn Cdn Gds and four years later, Jim baptized my son, Tony at RMC Kingston. Though quiet, Jim served us well and Mary, we still have that painting of the Pines in the backyard you did for us those many years ago.
You will be missed, Jim.
