I was so saddened to hear about Bessie. I always enjoyed stopping in for a chat with her, especially about the town of Annapolis Royal in years gone by. I learned a lot from her. She was a remarkable woman.
As a first cousin to Bessie I knew her only slightly as I left to join Canadachr(39)s armed forces. I remember her beautiful smile and her friendly manner and always that helping hand. Rest in peace dear Bessie.
