so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad, Harry. I was having surgery so I missed his service. I can remember when we first got married we bought our first piece of furniture from him at the store here in Aylesford. Ken remembers as a boy him dropping of groceries for him Mom and he use to stop for lunch. He was always such as sweetheart, always giving a hug and always taking time to talk. When my Dad was sick he would stop in and chat for a bit. It it has certainly been an honor to have known him and I know by talking to you Linda, that you have the same good heart your Dad has. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear dad. Harry was a talented man, always so friendly and interested in others. My father, Jim Felch, always spoke so highly of him and enjoyed the friendship they had together. I often think of your dear mother as well--she was such a great person with a cheerful disposition. May your own memories bring you comfort and a sense of peace. Life moves on--not from where we were, but from where we are. I see by the paper that you have grandchildren--such wonderful blessings and a diversion from the cares of the world. Sorry I am unable to come to the funeral due to a previous commitment, but know that you are in my thoughts. Sincerely, John and Louise Rainforth

On behalf of the Fournier family in Yarmouth NS I would like to extend our sympathy to your family. My Dad, George Fournier was a patient in the Kentville hospital with your Dad. Every night Harry would check on Dad several times to make sure he was covered so he would not get a chill. Harry thought the world of his family and told us many stories of how proud he was of you all. We all feel blessed to have had your Dad in our lives though it was only for a short time. I trust they are both looking down on us with that same feeling of pride they both had in their hearts for their families. God Bless.

Hi Linda: It was with sadness that I read in the paper this morning of your fatherchr(39)s passing on June 18th. I remember well his faithfulness at worship during my tenure (1969-1975) and his involvement in the life of Aylesford Baptist Church. I also remember his keen sense of humor. It has been a privilege to maintain our friendship through the annual exchange of Christmas greetings. Arlene joins me in extending our prayers for Godchr(39)s comfort and peace to be with you all at this time. Sincerely, (Rev.) Nelson A. Metcalfe

Dear Howard and Linda, We have know Harry and Evelyn since we moved to Aylesford in 1976. He and your mother were great people. We lost touch when we moved to Somerset but once in awhile would find Harry out and about. We met him again at Evergreen and spent time with him before we would leave after visiting Wendellchr(39)s Mom who is there as well. This is a great place, so welcoming. He always would ask us how he knew us and we would relate how my husband while working at Baltzerschr(39) would sand blast some pump or other for him. HE would laugh and say yes that is it. He was always smiling. Remember that at this time of trial for you. God Bless and our Deepest Sympathies go out to you all. Sincerely , Wendell and Rhoda Bennett

Linda and family, My heart goes out to you. Having recently lost my own mother (Marjorie Franey), I know how tough it can be to lose a second parent ... no matter the age, the circumstance, or the relationship we had with them. I hope that find some comfort through happy and shared memories, and know that your Father is now at peace. I have fond memories of your parents visiting with my parents, Albert and Marjorie Franey, and shared many laughs and a few meals with them too. Your parents accompanied my parents in 1989 on a driving trip to Toronto to visit me. It was a fun time for all. I feel blessed to have known your parents. God Bless, Susan (Franey) and Mario Liberto
