Heather and Bill: Please forgive the lateness of this message: I had written you in a card, but the post office returned it to me this week with the terse message "moved, unknown." It was with alarm and sadness that I learned of Patrickchr(39)s passing. Reading the obituary, I was struck by the wonderful world you created and provided for Patrick, with the great help of the Lchr(39)Arche network. Coincidentally, I have just finished reading "The Boy in the Moon," by Ian Brown, a writer (for the Globe and Mail) who has a severely disabled son in Toronto. Brown is a dedicated atheist, so it is a bit difficult to ascertain how valid are his remarks on Vanierchr(39)s work, but Brown did visit and live with Vanier in the Lchr(39)Arche community in France. I believe the son, Walker, now lives in a group home in the Toronto area. The mother is Joanna Schneller, another journalist. The book won a Canadian non-fiction award last year.
You have lost both your twin sons: I wish you much courage and strength as you face this new challenge and absence in your lives. I am sorry I missed you at Ed and Adachr(39)s that Sunday afternoon when the Hants West group of friends met at their cottage. I did see Ed and Ada two days later (leftover turkey!) there when Kyla and her two children were visiting, and I was singing with Kings Chorale in the Music Festival at Acadia later that evening.
In retirement, my life has been commandeered by musical events: I am a member of five choirs in the Valley from Berwick to Annapolis Royal. My busiest day is usually Sunday. I still have my condo in Halifax, but most of my time is spent in the happy little town of Bridgetown.
Lots of love to you all, John Montgomerie

Dear Family of Patrick Berryman,
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope for our dear loved ones that is expressed in the Bible at Psalm 37:29 which says: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We can be assured that when wickedness is wiped out from the earth and it is restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as God originally purposed, our loved ones will return to life on earth. John 5: 28,29 tells us that "...The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ..."
In the Lordchr(39)s Prayer that most of us pray we ask for Godchr(39)s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21:3,4. It reads in part: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, ... And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.ââ?¬ÃÂ
I hope these words bring a measure of comfort in your time of loss.
Sincerely,
Sandra Sullivan

Our days during high school years were not complete without the phone calls "hey, Lin is Allison there"? He loved to talk to the girls on the phone and if she wasnchr(39)t around I would do.!!Oh yes, we all have fond memories and stories to tell, he will certainly be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Heather,Bill & family,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss of Patrick. I got to know Patrick
while working at the Flower Cart and for SSG.I watched him many times ask questions over and over until he got the information he needed. He had a strong desire to know and to live his own life. Your family supported him all the way even when you had to learn to let go so he could become the adult he became. Know Patrick had a lot of good experiences, people ,family in his life. The last time I seen Patrick he was asking questions to someone who I knew was with the fire department,I just walked away and let him be.
