Obituary of Chester Jamieson Mullen
Chester Jamieson Mullen, 87 of Hassett passed away on July 31, 2024, in the QE2. Born in Hilltown, he was the son of the late Clarence and Elda (Hill) Mullen.
Chester loved nature and the outdoors, in his spare time you could find him going on camping trips, fishing or simply going on a long drive through the woods. Even while he was home, he enjoyed watching the deer in his backyard. Starting at an early age, Chester worked in the woods and even into his golden years you would see him putting in his wood for the winter months.

Chester is survived by his wife Faye; daughter Shelly (Frank) Lowe; son Terry (Bethany) Mullen; sisters Jennie Mullen and Edith (Vernon) Mullen; brothers Arthur (Paulette), Clarence (Barbara), Curtis (Carol) Mullen; grandchildren Evan, Felecia, Brandon, Emma, Terry Jr, Barrett, Hilary and Reggie as well as great grandchildren Stacy, Jaydee and Parker.
In addition to his parents, Chester was predeceased by sons Peter and Reggie; brothers Gordon, Wilfred and Roland as well as sisters Mabel and Ruby.
A visitation has taken place on August 3 at 1:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 13, 2024 at 2:00pm in the New Tusket Baptist Church. A private family only interment will take place following Chesters service in the Hilltown Cemetery. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
