Obituary of Cleveland Wayne Langdale
Cleveland Wayne Langdale, age 70 of North Range passed away at his home on July 27, 2024. Born in North Range he was the son of the late Fletcher and Celeste (Sabean) Langdale.
During Cleve’s stay with us, he worked at Barton Texico, Hendersen`s Lumber Company, he drove for a taxi company in Greenwood, worked at the Pines Hotel and worked in the carpentry industry in his later years. In Cleves spare time, he enjoyed talking to his friends (especially Kenny and Pauline) and family, cooking and preserving, gardening and watching old movies. What he treasured most was Christmas decorating, you could tell if you drove by his home or went inside. He had every room decorated. His other true joy was the time he spent with family. He prided himself on always being right and never losing an argument (in his opinion). Cleve was also a member of the North Range Baptist Church
Cleve is survived by his brothers Stephen/Tony (Debbie) North Range, Randy (Judy Thibeault) South Range and Dean, Wolfville; Sisters, Diane, Little River and Pam (Manus Williams) Frost, Marshalltown; sister-in-law Kathy, North Range as well as nine nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Cleve was predeceased by his brother Mitchell; half brother Donald Sabean; sister-in-law Norma; brothers-in-law David Frost and Forrest Boliver.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service as requested by Cleveland. Memorial donations may be made to the IWK. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Conway, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
