Obituary of Shirley Mary Robicheau
Shirley Mary Robicheau, 79, passed away on July 25, 2024. Born in Digby, Shirley was the daughter of the late Gifford and Marjorie Amero.
Shirley was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, she enjoyed bingo and spending time with her friends but above all Shirley loved spending time with her family. Shirley worked as a cook at the Pines Resort for many years.
Shirley is survived by her brothers Ronald Amero, of Plympton and Denis (Jackie) Amero, of Brighton; niece and God-daughter, Karen (Paul) Sullivan, Havelock; nieces, Peggy (John) Witt, Alberta, Claudette (Wayne) Burns, Barton, Sharon (Randy) Mullen, North Range; nephews, Danny (Heather) Amero, BC, Ronnie Jr. Amero, Gilberts Cove, and Jerry Amero, Plympton; great-nieces, Kristy (Jeremy) Marshall, Barton, Lianna Jones, Alberta, Brianne and Caelin Amero, BC, Desiree Mullen, North Range, Kayte, Cornwallis; great nephew and God son, Jason (Keshia) Williams, Plympton; great nephews, Cory (Sarah) Williams, Belliveau Cove, Clifford Smith, Havelock, Kyle Burns, North Range, Cody, Alex Amero, Caledonia, Daniel Amero, North Range, Justin, Alberta; as well as seven great great nephews and four great great nieces.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Robicheau.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at 6:30pm in the Digby County Funeral Chapel. Interment to take place at a later date. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Deep Brook Lions Club.
