Obituary of Eileen Vivian Himmelman
Eileen Vivian Himmelman, 95 of Bridgewater passed away on July 20, 2024, in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Milton, Nova Scotia Eileen was the daughter of the late Edward and Phyllis Oickle.
Eileen enjoyed playing bingo and was a volunteer for many years at The Salvation Army Thrift Store. She loved baseball and her favorite team was The Toronto Blue Jays.

Eileen is survived by her sons Maurice of Italy Cross and Brad of Bridgewater; daughters, Marie (John) of Chester, Dorothy of Rhodes Corner, Joyce (Ed) of Dartmouth, Peggy (Dean) of Day Spring and Elaine of Bridgewater; brothers Mervin (Sandra) of Bridgewater, Alan (Lena) of Milton and Lyman (Linda) of Milton; sisters Elaine (Wayne) of Dartmouth and Joyce (Graham) of Hammonds Plains as well as 25 grandchildren and 28 great great-grand children.
In addition to her parents, Elieen was predeceased by her son Tony; grandsons Jason and Kyle; sister Marjorie Lloyd, brothers Malcolm, Vincent, Royce, Linwood and Roland as well as her late ex husband, Maurice Himmelman.
As per request there will be no funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
