Obituary of John James Comeau

John James Comeau, 81 of North Range, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on May 30, 1943 in Barton, he was the son of the late Martin and Carrie (Thibault) Comeau. John spent many years working as a carpenter and was well known by many.

“We said goodbye to a loving husband, father, brother and, friend.”

John is survived by his wife, Dianne of 60 years; son, Malcolm of Lower Sackville; daughter, Lorelei (Late Bill Amero) of North Range; sister, Grace Thibodeau (Pius) of Digby; nieces, Judy Blanchenot (Martin) of Orangeville, Ontario, Maureen (Doug) Thibodeau, of Digby, Kelly (Scott) Comeau Budgell of Mississauga, Ontario; nephew, Dale (Sophie) Comeau of Kingston, and, nephew in law David (Kathy) Gillis of South Range.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his brother, Michael Comeau; sister, Lorena (Sis) Taylor; and, his son in law, Bill Amero.
