Obituary of Carol Jean Melanson
Carol Jean Melanson, 86, of Ashmore, passed away in the Tide View Terrace on May 5, 2024. Born June 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Eva (Brittain) Lombard.
Carol was an avid member of the Ashmore Baptist Church.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Kimberley (John) Mullan, (Hilltown); sister, Dorothy Moore (Annapolis Nursing Home); sister-in-laws, June Melanson-Turcot and Mary Amero Melanson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her sisters, Alice Hill, Evalina Hill, Bella Manzer, Goldie Andrews and Mabel Main; brothers, Stanley Lombard Sr, Arnold Lombard, Russell Lombard, Alexander Lombard Jr, Richard Lombard, Donald Lombard, and Chester Lombard; as well as her first husband, Earl Melanson and second husband, Floyd Melanson.
The family would like to thank the Digby hospital 2nd floor nurses and the staff at Tide View Terrace – Dominion House for the loving care Carol received.
