Obituary of Marg Loomer-Beausoleil

Margaret "Marg" Rose Loomer-Beausoleil, 76, loving wife of the late Gord Beausoleil, passed away suddenly at the Georgian Bay Hospital in Midland, Ontario, on February 12, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Ralph and Gladys (Peterson) Nauss of Somerset.

Marg was born and raised in Berwick, where she married her first husband the late Allan Loomer, and together they raised their two children, Jeff and Angela. Marg created many opportunities in her life from running a successful daycare, working in retail and as a dental assistant. In 1980 she tapped into her true calling, her creative side. Self taught she learned and mastered many skills along the way. Her zest for work was only surpassed by her zest for life and all it could offer.

In 2012 Marg and Gord met and fell in love in Florida. She then relocated to Midland Ontario, where they had a wonderful decade together. From Motorhome travels and her purple Prowler sports car, Marg was always seeking the next adventure. Party planner extraordinaire, she always ensured everyone was having a good time. Her last adventure was planning her move back to Nova Scotia, and she was so very excited to be coming home. Marg lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end, and touched the lives of many people along the way.

Marg is survived by her loving son, Jeff Loomer; daughter, Angela Alexander (Don); grandsons, Howard Loomer and Mitchell Alexander; and great grandchildren, Logan and Hazel.

A Memorial Service will be held in Nova Scotia on May 19, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Serenity Funeral Home followed by an interment in the Aylesford Union Cemetery.
