Obituary of Virginia Lee Lee

Virginia “Ginny” Lee Lee, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully March 22, 2024 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Ginny was born in New York City on July 2, 1941. She moved with her young family to Paradise, Nova Scotia in 1970.
Intelligent, creative, and always curious, Ginny loved reading, poetry, dance, art, gardening, bird-watching, bridge and sewing. She especially enjoyed dinner parties with family and friends, and playing card and board games with her children. She was a member of Paradise Woman’s Institute, and was active in local dance groups and choirs.
Ginny will be fondly remembered by her children, John (Doris Lovadina-Lee), Jennifer (Robert Cannon), Elizabeth (Nigel Beviss), and Randal; grandchildren, Alexandra (Gerry Pike), Oliver, Farley, Corbin, Elliott, Gabriel, and Polly; great granddaughter, Flora; and many nieces and nephews.
Ginny was predeceased by her life-long partner, John; with whom she particularly enjoyed traveling with in their later years.
Cremation has taken place and a time of remembrance will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
