Obituary of Bill Trider
William “Bill” Victor Trider, age 82 of Windsor, passed away on March 12, 2024, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on March 27, 1941, in Windsor, he was the son of the late Gordon and Katherine (Whitehead) Trider.
Bill was a member of the Local 615 Labour’s Union and worked for various construction companies. After retirement, Bill liked to travel on the bus visiting communities throughout the valley. He also enjoyed spending time at the cottage with Bruce. One of Bill’s favourite passtimes was doing jigsaw puzzles.
Bill is survived by brothers, Bruce (Pauline), Richard (Debbie) and Jerry all of Three Mile Plains, Fred of Martock, and Doug (Barb) of Surrey, British Columbia; sister, Mable; brother-in-law, Ezra Brown of Bramber; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by brothers, James (Daisy), Ronnie, and two brothers in infancy; sister, Jenny Brown; and sisters-in-law, Donna Darlene Trider and Donna Faye Trider.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service in accordance with Bill’s request. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
