Obituary of Linda Lea Daley

Linda Lea (Darrach) Daley, age 75, of Culloden, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024, in the Digby Hospital. Born in Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of the late John and Norma Darrach.

Early in life Linda attended Acadia University to become a teacher. She then met the love of her life, Avard, and together they decided to settle in the Digby area. Before starting a family, Linda was an avid traveller, but when Jonathan came along she found her true passion was being a mother.  Of Linda’s many hobbies her favouritess were reading, crafts, quilting, gardening, and wine-making.

Linda will be remembered by her loving husband of 52 years, Avard; son, Jonathan (Kelsey); granddaughters, Veronica and Sophia; brothers, David (JoAnn), and Donnie (Lea-Ann); sister-in-law, Carol Weir; as well as numerous nephews.

Special thanks to nephew, Andy Weir, and friend, Jeanne Adams , for all the care and support they gave Linda.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.  Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
