Obituary of Donald Ward Cooper
Donald Ward Cooper, age 97 of Falmouth, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 26, 2024 in the Windsor Elms Village. Born on October 31, 1926, he was the son of the late George and Jennie (Houseman) Cooper.
Donald loved to bicycle and when able would often bike from New Minas to Hantsport to see his son, Doug. After he moved to the Windsor Elms Village he took up the harmonica and played with Village’s house band, the Misfits.
Donald will be remembered by his son, Doug (Lori) Cooper; grandchildren, Brad (Jess) Webster and Kristy Webster; and great-grandchildren, Adrian, Jackson, Mason, Aliyah, and Wynter.
In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his son, Greg Cooper; brothers, Gerald and Murray; and sister, Joan.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Windsor Elms Village for their outstanding care and compassion Donald received during his stay.
Cremation has taken place and interment will take place in the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Elms Village.
