Obituary of Crystan Ann Griffin

Crystan “Crys” Ann Griffin, age 68 of New Minas passed away on January 6, 2024, in the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Born in Wolfville to Helen (Durling) Griffin and the late Adelbert Griffin, she grew up in Port Williams.
Before retiring in 2016, Crys workded at Sarsfield for over 30-years. She cherished her beloved canine companion, Levi who was always by her side. Crys was an avid reader and had a great love for books She loved spending her summers at Orchard Queen in Middleton and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the campground. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
Crys is survived by her mother, Helen Griffin; sister, Tracey Smart; and sister-in-law, Debra Griffin.
In addition to her father, Adelbert, Crys was predeceased by her brothers, Leonard and Gregory Griffin.

Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Crys’ wishes there will be no funeral service. A Graveside Service will be held in the spring for family and invited friends in the Elmgrove Cemetary, Steam Mill. Memorial donations may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital or Kings County SPCA.
