Obituary of William Bruce Ryan
William Bruce Ryan, age 66, of Greenwood, passed away suddenly on September 13, 2023, in Greenwood. He was the son of Betty and the late John Ryan of Digby.
As an avid hunter and fisherman, William enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature. He could often be found camping with his wife and daughter, or spending time at his camp and at Cloud Lake on the South Mountain. Over the years, he had many dogs, cats, and even a goat, by his side, William absolutly loved his furry companions.
In addition to his mother, William is remembered by his wife, Beatrice Ryan, Greenwood; daughter, Sarah (Nick) McLeod , Coldlake, AB; and sisters, Reni (Ross) O’Flaherty, Dartmouth; and Vicki Ryan (Blaine), Walton.
William was loved and cherished by many, and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with William’s wishes, there will be no visitiation or service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
