Obituary of Rosalie Maybelle Kane
Please share a memory of Rosalie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rosalie Maybelle (Peterson) Hiltz Kane, age 75, Centerville, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Berwick on October 22, 1947, to Dorothy Maie (Hiltz) and the late Roy Peterson.
Rosalie was also known as “Honey” by many and was known by many as the best artist and quilter around. She absolutely loved to do anything in regards to art whether it be tole painting, Artex, cross-stitching, knitting, crocheting, or scrapbooking; but within the last while quilting is where her heart and passion was. “Please know Mom your girls will complete the binding on your quilt you just finished to have it in the show for September.” Her blue eyes and beauty were stunning and she could light up a room with her charm and humour. Rosalie was a member of the Centerville Baptist Church.
