I was so saddened to hear of Brenda's passing. I lived one year in the valley; she was always so warm and welcoming. Brenda and I would often talk and get together for supper or an outing. She made being away from home easier with some delicious homemade meals and her ease of chatting and fantastic smile! We would often travel home to Pictou County together. I always enjoyed her company. Thinking of her family and friends at this difficult time, she truly was a gem!
