Shirley, my deepest sympathy to you and your family for your loss. I remember Doug as part of Frank Spinney's crew when we were working on the "Little House" projects at Wolfville Area Interchurch Housing. May God bless and comfort you and your family during the days ahead.

Shirley and family so shocked to read of Doug's passing. He had to be the quiest and most kind neighbour we have ever had.
He never had anything bad to say about anyone and led a true family life. Knew he was in his favourite place when the smoke would come from the stove in the garage.
As we talked we shared many stories, but one of the nicest was of your love for Doug and his love for you.
Know our thoughts and prayers are with you always. He will be missed, if only for his smoke signals.
