Kenneth “Kenny” Harold Kelly, age 71 of Wolfville, passed away on February 18, 2023, in the Valley Regional Hospitial, Kentville, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 1, 1951 in the Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital, Wolfville, Kenneth was the son of the late Harold and Gladys Kelly.
Kenny always made sure you knew he loved you, and was very kind to eveyone he met. At family gathering he enjoyed helping to serve and was very quick to help clean-up and wash the dishes. Kenny loved country music and was known for paying the spoons whenever he could. He was an all around great guy and loved working at Anderson’s Farm in Melanson up to the minute he left due to failing health.
Kenny leaves behind his loving partner of 29-years, Viola Smith; son, Kenneth Jr.; grandchildren, Noah, Taylor, Joshua, and Isiah; brothers, Perry, Eric, and Clyke (Karen); sisters, Maxine (Ed), Donna (George), Gloria (Donnie), Iona (Wayne); sisters-in-law, Cathy and Dolly; step-children, Kevin, Sharon, Victoria, and Carrie; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was predeceased by brothers, Nelson and Dale; sisters, Diane, Charlotte, and Jane; and brothers-in-law, Eddie and Lester.
A Celebration of Life will take place on April 29, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, in the West Brooklyn Community Centre, 410 West Brooklyn Mountain Road. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
