Obituary of Rosanne Jennie Brown
Rosanne Jennie Brown, 55, of Barrington, passed away on January 30, 2023, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born August 19, 1967 in Brampton, Ontario, she was the daughter of Muriel Berlemont, and moved to Nova Scotia at the age of seven.
Rosanne met her husband, Darren, at the tender age of 13. They fell in love and were married when she was only 18. Together they moved to Barrington where they started their family. She adored children which led her to a career as a child care provider.
Rosanne enjoyed being active, her favorite activities included camping, hiking, canoeing, going to the beach, learning to drive a motorcycle and horseback riding. She had a love for animals, especially horses and dogs, so there was always a family dog in the house. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Rosanne enjoyed talking to her neighbours about the hope for the future.
Her smile could light up the room and no one could ever forget her kind and loving personality. She will be greatly missed and forever be in our hearts.
Rosanne is survived by loving husband, Darren Brown; daughters, Janena Goreham (Fabian) and Nakeisha Brown (Brady); grandchildren, Gavin, River, and Rylan; mother, Muriel Berlemont; siblings, Danny Berlemont, Robert Berlemont, Mark Berlemont, and Karen Green; nieces, Tasha, Brianna, Lauren, and Claire; nephews, Justin, Alyre, Peter, Luke, and Ethan; and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2 Baden Powell Dr, Kentville, NS, B4N 5P4.
