Howard “Loyal” Clifton Crocker, age 72, of Great Village, passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Born in Trout River, NL, he was the son of the late Bridie and Harold Crocker, and birth mother, Avril (Crocker) Miller. Loyal was a bother to Emma, Eulah, Earl, Mancel, Wayne, Carolyn, Sharon, Glenn, John, Iris, Marilyn, Brent, and Holly.
Loyal loved working with his hands. He was a talented carpenter most of his life, working with Kent Homes for years and then retiring from Kohler Windows. He loved the outdoors and having his lawn mowed to perfection!
Loyal will be fondly remembered by his brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Loyal is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Loyis (Eagles) Crocker; children, David (Paula), Neil (Barbara), Cassandra (Colin), and Lyle. He was the proud Poppy to Ryan, Kayla, Hayden, Brooklynn, Jaiden, Marcel, Robin, and Maxwell; great-Poppy to Caige, Brooklynn, Zoey, Austonn, Aiden, Lilly, Kholson, and Graysonn.
In addition to his parents, Loyal was predeceased by brothers, John, Earl, Mancel, Wayne; and grandson, Jessie.

Burial will take place at a late date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
