Our condoleances go first to our Canadian family, tante Corrie and children and relatives.
We met Marten I think only twice in the last 20 years, in Amsterdam and in Ottawa, but have still nice memories to those visits.

For me as namesharing cousin it is the second time to see my name in an obituary, after that to opa Douma, after whom we were named. It makes me think a while about the shortness of our lives. Rest in peace.
