Going Home
Time has come that you must leave, we shall all weep and grieve.
Your time with us all so sweet, lay your head and rest your feet.
Lord above be gentle and kind, a woman such as this is so very hard to find.
She’s unlike the rest and made like no other, she’s the greatest of all, our dear sweet mother.
Close your eyes and be at peace, pillows of satin and sheets of fleece.
Bed of Ivory, flowers for your grave, BEAUTIFUL as you were, and all the love you gave.
So, Lord above be gentle and kind, a woman such as this is so very hard to find.
She’s unlike the rest and made like no other, she’s the greatest of all, our dear sweet mother.
She’s the greatest of all and built like no other, she’s the QUEEN of our world, she’s our dear sweet mother!
Love you mother, you’re going home!
