it is with great sadness we say goodbye to David Joseph Doucette, Sr., 52 of Digby, our “Wooden Indian”, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2022 in the Yarmouth Hospital. Born on November 20, 1969; he was the son of the late Leaman Joseph and Mary Jeannett Doucette.
David had a passion for four-wheeling and a love for a good cold Budweiser. He enjoyed people watching and rabbit hunting with the boys. Here he made many great memories and endless laughs. He also loved his RubyGirl.
David was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, and husband. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his devoted common-law wife of 18 years, Kathleen Ruby Titus; his son, David Joseph Doucette, Jr.; step-sons, Darren Titus, Trevor Titus, Logan Oliver, and Tristan Titus; sisters, Janice (Blair) Mullen and Nancy (Paul) O’Neil; brothers, Leaman (Yvette) Doucette, and John (Marianne) Doucette; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Cremation has taken place and per family request there will be no service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
