Obituary of Eva Eileen Wilson

Eva Eileen Wilson, 87 of Deep Brook, passed away on April 26, 2022 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Eva was born February 18, 1935, in Scotch Village to the late Keith and Gertrude (Smith) Harvey.
She grew up in Deep Brook and later moved to Oshawa in 1955 with her husband, Colin. Eva then spent the next 36-years in Oshawa before returning to Nova Scotia upon her husband’s retirement. Eva worked at the Co-Operative Supplies in Oshawa and Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Whitby, Ontario. Upon returning to Nova Scotia, she worked in the shipping department at Darmos Enterprises.
Eva also did volunteer work with the Service Clubs in Oshawa and was a 25-year member of the ladies auxiliary Clementsport Legion and was caterer for a few years. Eva enjoyed gardening, playing cards, especially cribbage, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, driving her car, and people. She enjoyed travelling with her husband.

She is survived by her sons, Dave (Astrid) of Victoria, BC; Dale (Barb) of Nanaimo, BC; grandchildren, Scott, Juliana, Lauren, Charlie, Caitlin, and Piper; step-grandchildren, Michelle, Jason, Trevor, and Steven; great-grandchildren, Emma, Bradley, and Sebastian; sisters, Gladys Fraser and Joyce Anderson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eva was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Colin; sisters, Leona, Phyllis, and Jean; brothers, Doull, Ron, and Leonard.
