Obituary of Roxie June Redden
Roxie June Redden, 88 of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away in the Valley Hospice, Kentville on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born in Avonport, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary "Bessie" (Holmes) MacDonald.
She is survived by her two loving ❤️ children; son, Lindsay (Irene) and daughter, Wanda (Lawrence) Stevens; and granddaughter, Katelyn.
In addition to her parents, Roxie was predeceased by her husband, Russell Redden; brothers, William and Clarence; sisters, Laura Hutt, Elizabeth McBay, Shirley Burgess, Doris Lawrence, Ida Hirtle, Jean Sanford, Margaret Workman, Helen Huntley, Lois Scofield, and Mary MacDonald in infancy.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service, by request. The laying of ashes will take place at a later date at the Berwick Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
