Sympathy to family and friends. I am Verge and Martha’s daughter . I was married to Wayne Jess . We went by the Look off many times. Stopped and had ice cream sometimes. The Bible calls death an enemy at 1 Corinthians 15:26. It is one thing we never get used to , because it was not to be. Jehovah promised at Acts24:15 a resurrection of the dead. He also promised at Revelation 21:4 , no more pain ,suffering or death. Great comfort for all of us.
May family and friends comfort you at this time., and as the days go on.
May you also get great comfort from God through the Bible.LprHf

We are so sad to hear of Fern passing away, but we are glad to have had the opportunity to meet and get to know Fern. She was such a thoughtful, kind and loving lady who drew people to her. She had a way of making you feel like family and always made you feel like she was waiting to see you. She had a very positive outlook for better days in the future and we had many encouraging and happy talks as we sat at her table, looking across the bay.We shared a common belief of being able to live forever on a paradise earth, with no more sickness or death.Fern believed this hope and had a keen desire to be able to enjoy life. We will miss her dearly and look forward to happier times together in the future. Psalms 37:10,11

Please accept our condolences,we are deeply saddened to hear and read of Fern's passing away in death.Lost of a dear loved one is the saddest time in one's life for sure. This year has been a difficult one in many ways with co-vid 19 and its restrictions plus the death of loved ones.I lost my brother Wayne,a brotner in law, several close friends and neighbours this year.I do gain comfort though from Jesus' words recorded at John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 were he promised that we would have our loved ones back and alive again when he and his father Jehovah God resurrects them from their tombs or graves.Fern expresed her belief in this hope several times over the years to various ones.Thinking of you all at this time, lots of love.

We send our sincere condolences to the family. Aunt Fern was another great Huntley woman. Her soul has left this earth to join her family above but she has left many fond memories behind. Her and Uncle Bob's home was always open and welcoming. We and our boys, Troy and Justin, have many great memories of times spent there. May she rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. Fern was a sweet lady that I got the pleasure of knowing while she resided at Blomidon court. She was great fun and always up for any activity we had that day. Fern had a great laugh and an awesome sense of humour. I am thankful I got to know her. Rest easy Fern

It saddens our hearts hearing of Aunt Fern’s passing…Our deepest sympathies to all of her children and their families. Many Sunday afternoons were spent at the Look Off growing up. The twins and Darlene catching up, Alden and I exploring all over the place, mom and Aunt Fern swapping recipes while Dad and Uncle Bob shared brotherly time. Later in years I would go to there home in Long Beach to visit them, play with the latest bulldog in our families then Lance and I would jump on Jewel and Jim for a bareback ride in the woods and along the beach. Aunt Fern and Uncle Bob would always have a kind word and fond memories to share with us……those are some of the memories I cherish growing up a Bishop…..now that we’ve lost many in our family, I encourage you to hold your special memories close in honour of them all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Much love to all! Xoxo
