Obituary of Wayne Edwin Maling

Wayne Edwin Maling, 70, of Upper Clements, peacefully passed away on December 10, 2021 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre. He was the son of the late Willard and Shirley (Brown) Maling.

Wayne spent 35-years in the logging industry before spending the last 15-years as a long-haul truck driver. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his cattle; and when you were not sure where he may be, just look over in the kindlin pile he was sure to be there.

Above all else, his time with his grandchildren was very treasured.

Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Amanda and Stephanie (Trevor); sister Lois Oickle; grandchildren, Daimian, Nanine and Waylon.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathy and brother, Roger.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
