Obituary of Jean Diane Amero
Jean “Diane” Amero, 74 of Weymouth, passed away on November 27, 2021 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Marie Therese (Moulaison) Amero.
Diane had an amazing sense of humor that could make anyone laugh and despite her size Diane was a strong person never backing down when life challenged her, always finding a solution to any problem. Diane enjoyed shopping at frenchies, buying Scentsy, and planting flowers in the spring. Diane loved animals, rescuing many over the years and giving them a safe place to call home but most of all Diane loved her children, many times boasting of their accomplishments in their own lives.
Diane is survived by her son, Lester (Maxine) and daughter, Stephanie; both of Weymouth.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date, with interment in the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the J&M Foster For Cats Society, Nova Scotia.
