To Anne and the rest of Vance's family I want to offer my sincerest sympathy. I didn't know until now that Vance and I were the same age. His suffering is now over. May he now rest in peace.
I was so sorry to hear of Vance's passing. I enjoyed his visits to the Legion and he was well liked by all the members there. His last few years have been tough and he must've been uncomfortable. But he never complained and had a positive outlook (at least on the outside).
