Walsh Alberta Jean 74 of New Minas formally of Gaspereau Mt. Kings County passed away peacefully Friday January 20th 2006 surrounded by her loving family at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in Greenwich, Kings County she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Lance) Fenwick
Alberta is survived by her husband of 38 years, Herbert Walsh New Minas, Daughter Lisa; Dartmouth Sons David (Jody) White Rock Mtn., Danny (Lynda); Glenmont Mtn., Nephew, (Son at heart) Stephen (Rowena), Hortonville, Grandchildren Ryan, Tiffany, Morgan, Bronson, Nikita, Wayne and Chantel
Besides her parents, Alberta was pre deceased by brother David Fenwick, Greenwich
Alberta will be remembered for her special way of making everyone welcome in her home, her love of family, friends, pets and her flower gardens.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday January 24th 2006 from Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium 1212 Parkway Drive, Port Williams, N.S. B0P 1T0
Funeral service will be held Wednesday January 25th 2006 at 2 PM From the Gaspereau Baptist Church, Rev. Ellen Hunt and Rev. Mark Shaw will officiate with cremation to follow and a private family interment at a later date. A reception will take place at the Forest Hill Baptist Church following the Funeral Service.
