Heartfelt condolences to Layton's family. I recall great times on Upper MacLean Street, playing road hockey with Layton, who was an enthusiastic, funny, and kind person.

Kim and family I send my heartfelt condolences for you at this time. I first met Layton when he was at Acadia, and then was able to work alongside him when I was with the Wolfville PD and later RCMP, and he became a paramedic. One particular occasion we had called for EHS attendance at a call and when they arrived, there was Layton. Overseeing the situation he asked; " Mac, what hell have you brought upon us?" Then he proceeded to calm the individual and show his professionalism. As the years past I saw less of him, but I know what a wonderful person, with a great sense of community he did possess. He shall be missed, however I know that fond memories shall provide peace, and I'm sure in time a smile or two. Bless you all, Mac

Emma and I we’re heartbroken to hear that Layton had passed away. His obituary is certainly a reflection of what a wonderful Husband, Father and person he was. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that Emma and I are thinking of you all during this difficult time. Sending lots of love from Emma in Toronto and me Charlottetown.

Ruby & Family . Sorry to learn of Layton's passing. Although our paths have not crossed since our 35th MGBHS Reunion in 1993 it is always difficult to learn of situations involving those we have known during our School years. I never met Layton but it sounds like he did much for a lot of people that he became involved with.
Cherish and enjoy the Memories.
