SHAW, Leonard Eric "Len" - 83, Wolfville, died peacefully January 16, 2006, after a short struggle with cancer, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Hammersmith, London, England, Len enlisted in the British Army (Royal Armoured Corps) in 1940. He served in North Africa and India leaving the force after attaining the rank of Lieutenant. He spoke little about the war, except to express his desire to never sleep in a tent again. Consequently, summer vacations never included camping. Len emigrated to Canada in 1966 wh
