Hello Elaine and Marshall and Families;
So Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I had called her a couple of times this past year to see how she was doing with this Covid. She seemed to be her usual positive self to me.
I was going to call her the other night when Janice sent me the post of her death.
Condolences to you all.
Sincerely,
Rhoda Bennett

Dear Elaine and Marshall,
It saddened me to see your Mom’s obituary in the paper. Greta was my favourite Aunt, even though she was really a cousin-in-law. She was always so sweet and kind to me. I remember very fondly the many visits to your grandfather’s and later your father’s farm as a boy, running around the farm and playing with you two. Great memories! The last time Muffy and I visited her at the assisted living center in Berwick, three years ago, she was 95 and still going strong. We had a great old gab and I said we’d be back but life gets in the way and we never did. She has been often on my mind though, Band in my heart. Our thoughts, prayers and love to you and your families. Greta had a long and wonderful life. A life worth living that brought great happiness to so many in her work and personal life. Love, Ray and Muffy

I met Greta Baltzer RN when I joined the WKM Staff fifty years ago. Greta was a dedicated, compassionate nurse who always put her patients well being above all else.
These later years, I’ve known Greta as a dear friend. She had a keen memory and I enjoyed hearing her stories of growing up on Aylesford Mountain, her training to become an RN, her nursing career at WKM, and her family life on the farm with her beloved Vinton and their children Elaine and Marshall. And oh, the stories she could tell.
I will miss her, but be forever grateful for having her as a friend. Connie.
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and sincerest condolences,
Connie and John Archer.

What a long and productive life ! I can only imagine the number of lives Greta touched , from the newborns she touched in their first moments of life , to the new Moms and Dads , to the staff she worked with at WKM and the lives touched by her volunteerism . My sincere sympathy to her family and friends , and I count myself as one of those . I didn't see her often in the last few years but it was always a joy .
