Little Bird
Little bird…do you long to fly in the sea air?
Do you gaze out the window and remember the wind in your hair?
Little Bird…do your feet long to walk on the beach?
Gathering sea glass as they wash on the shore?
Little bird…do your eyes softly remember the water and waves?
Crashing on the rocks with the beat of your heart?
Is your soul waiting to dance free? Like the tides?
Sing with the moon? And Smile in the sunshine?
Be free little bird FLY
For sandpiper
