Dear Paul, Jean and Mark, I remember your Dad so vividly sitting in his chair with him looking at my teeth and worrying that I hadn't brushed them enough. I was scared of dentists and yet I always survived my visit in his chair. The term is used these days, "he had a gentle hand." I send my deepest sympathy and know your many years of memories will spring to mind every day from this day forward. We are all becoming the "senior" level in our families and we are so lucky to have had our parents show us how to grow older with determination to be wonderful grandparents and even great grandparents. Your Dad was one of the best and leaves many of us with wonderful memories. Know so many care and are thinking of you all at this time.
Hugs to all,
Trish (How) MacDonald

I can close my eyes and vividly remember sitting in the dentist chair having my teeth attended to...fillings, extractions and cleaning. Today we have dental hygenists do much of the work that your Dad took for granted. I will always marvel at the way he could carefully work in my mouth and have that tremor in his head...was this from World War II?
It gives me great pleasure to remember my father "Doug" and your father "Dick" sitting in the back garden having their pre-dinner drinks. So many memories...Nancy

Jean, Paul and Mark and extended family,
Thinking of your Dad, I will always remember his gentleness while I was in the 'chair', but more importantly, how I got to know Jean and how she solicited a kindness and respect for all the young children in her caring and supportive role in preschools . She had a terrific role model. My thoughts are with you as you remember the many years with your Dad .

Dr. Taylor was my dentist from the time I was 2 years old until he retired. He was a great human being that was kind and compassionate with his patients. I missed him greatly when he retired. Our family very much appreciated him.
