Obituary of Beatrice Elaine Walker

Beatrice Elaine Walker, 89 of Annapolis Royal  passed away on November 28, 2019 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre.  Born in Lequille, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Spurr) Harnish.

Beatrice made a career in helping others, she worked in Harnishes Store in Lequille, the hospital and the Royal Bank in Annapolis Royal, where she lived for most of her life.  Even though Beatrice was a very private person, she loved music and dancing with her husband and many friends. She also enjoyed spending time on hobby crafts and needlepoint.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Donald of Annapolis Royal; son Eric of Digby; sisters Pauline of Bridgetown and Marjorie (Harold) of Ontario.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Beatrice’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Moschelle Community Hall, 718 Highway 201 Moschville, Annapolis County, with Rev. Nita Barteaux officating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
