To Jeff, Bruce, Barb, Cathy and all of Carol’s family:
I was very saddened to learn of your mom’s passing and wish to send along my heartfelt condolences to you all.Carol was a
true lady in every sense of the word, but along with many other fine qualities, possessed a wonderful sense of humour! She and I sat together in the soprano section of Trinity United Church Choir for many years and I have fond memories of funny stories we shared. She spoke often and proudly of each of you, your spouses and her grandchildren. As you most likely know, Carol occasionally combined her lovely soprano voice with those of Margie MacDonald, Kathy Eddy and Marilyn Crowley (we in the choir referred to this quartet fondly as Il Divas!) for special musical selections in church.
Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers - we will all miss your mom!

Dear Jeff, Bruce, Barb and Cathy,
Our condolences to you and your families on the loss of your mother. I have fond memories of visiting your parents in New Glasgow, time spent together at Heather Beach and your mother’s visits when she was in Halifax for the day. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately I will be unable to make it to New Glasgow tomorrow.

Dear Cathy and family,
I am sorry to hear of your mother’s passing and want to send my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I haven’t seen your mom since I moved from New Glasgow several years ago, but I have very fond memories of her. I knew Carol through Trinity United, but most of all through the ukulele group I led. She was such a pleasure to have in our group and I still recall her enthusiasm and joyfulness, especially when we performed concerts in the community. I always appreciated her big smile!
Thinking of you at this sad time,
Sue Stewart
