Obituary of Barbara Elizabeth Redden

It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce our beloved wife and mother, Barbara “Barb”, age 75 of Brooklyn, Hants County, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2019, in Hants Community Hospital. Born in Pictou County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Francis (Fraser) Joseph, New Glasgow, NS.

She spent her working career in the retail industry.

She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth (Ken); son Travis, Alberta; daughter Michelle (John Garth) MacDonald, Antigonish; two special grandchildren Luke and Madison MacDonald, Antigonish; special sister Nancy (Russell) Borden, New Glasgow and four other sisters.

Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by her one brother.

There will be no visitation and private family service only at the request of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
