Obituary of Debra Rose Power
Debra Rose Power, age 69 of Dartmouth, passed away on October 28, 2019, at her daughter's home in Pleasantville. Born in Newcastle, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Geraldine and Harold Mcfadden.
Debbie had a gigantic heart, and was known as the happiest woman with the biggest smile. Her famous saying was "I'm free to be happy and happy to be free"....Mrs Happy Face. Debbie was a dog groomer for 50 years and the owner of Debbie's Dog Boutique. She was married to William Basil Power for the past 40 years. She was also the owner of the Happy Face Museum. She was a member of Rock Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Basil Power; daughter, Tammy Hubley (Timothy); grandson, Bronson; stepchildren, Vicki Macrae (Joe Gamble), Leisa Morel (Eddy), Tony Power (Carol Bandfield), Terry Power (Lisa Morash); several step grand and great-grandchildren; sisters, Carla Astle (John), Paula Rolfe, Ivana Williams (Shawn), Colleen Rose (Barry), Debbie Blackburn (Dave), Kathy Corkum; brothers, Gary Brideau (Christine), Clifford Goguen (Judy), Daniel Goguen, David Goguen, Todd White, Bruce Coleman; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Steven Goguen, Brent Goguen; step grandchildren, Cortney Power and Joshawa Power; stepson, Gregory Power.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 18th at 11 a.m. in Rock Church with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rock Church.
