Obituary of Dale Lovett Trimper

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dale Lovett Trimper, 73 of Digby, on September 26, 2019 in his home with his loving family by his side.  He was the son of the late Lovett and Eileen (Murphy/Boutilier) Trimper.

Dale was a Burner Service Mechanic in Digby for several years, then moving to Fort Smith, NWT where he continued to work.  He absolutely loved his time hunting, fishing, reading, going to yard sales, country music and a special love for dogs. Dale was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed visits with his close friends Earl Falt, William, Jennifer and Katelyn Oickle. 

He was a very caring man and had a great sense of humor, always laughing and joking.

Dale is survived by his wife Barb (Darres) of 33 years; daughter Ronda (Kevin) Frost; grand-daughter Alyssa; brothers Steve (Linda) Trimper, Seldon (Dottie) Trimper, and Roland (Gloria) Trimper; sisters Catherine (Larry) Robicheau and Twyla Doherty;  step-sons Kevin (Shawna) Young and Trevor Young; step-daughter Shari MacArthur; several step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) or Annapolis Health Centre.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
